Dr Vaheh Avanessian is a highly experienced dentist with a special interest in restorative, cosmetic and digital dentistry, bringing over 35 years of private clinical experience to the team at Lion House Dental.

A graduate of University College London (1985), Dr Avanessian went on to complete a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry at the internationally recognised Eastman Dental Institute, London in 1999. His postgraduate training has equipped him with in-depth expertise in managing complex restorative cases, from crowns and bridges to aesthetic veneers, inlays/onlays, and implant-based prosthetics.

He is especially passionate about CEREC CAD/CAM same-day restorations, having undertaken both basic (2009) and advanced (2010) training in this field. His ability to deliver precision-made ceramic restorations in a single visit offers patients exceptional convenience without compromising on quality.

Dr Avanessian’s clinical interests include:

• CEREC CAD/CAM digital dentistry
• Adult removable orthodontics
• Implant-based restorations
• Cosmetic procedures including enamel shell crowns, bleaching and aesthetic reconstructions
• TMJ dysfunction, occlusal analysis, and facial pain management

In addition to clinical practice, Dr Avanessian has contributed to the development of younger dentists, having served as a lecturer and vocational trainer for dental foundation trainees since 2000.

His Master’s research focused on Low Fusing Porcelain Ceramics, and he has furthered his skills through advanced courses in fixed orthodontics (Sheffield), cosmetic dentistry (New York), IV sedation, hypnosis, electrosurgery, and more.

Dr Avanessian is known for his methodical, gentle approach and meticulous attention to detail. He is committed to providing high-quality, long-lasting care in a calm and respectful environment.

Outside of dentistry, Vaheh enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr Queena Lee qualified at King’s College London in 2022. During her time in university, Queena graduated with honors and was awarded multiple accolades including the Desmond Tutu Scholarship as well as the Associateship of King’s College.

She subsequently worked in general practice and completed additional postgraduate core training in Oxfordshire. Here she gained additional surgical experience within minor oral surgery removing challenging teeth and within community dental services treating anxious children and patients with more complex needs. In 2023, Queena achieved the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Queena is a skilled but empathetic dentist who understands that a visit to the dentist can be daunting. Her gentle and reassuring manner coupled with her passion for dentistry ensure that her patients are put at ease and enjoy their experience at each visit.

She is committed to continued postgraduate education and has completed further training in composite bonding, smile makeovers and provides Invisalign to correct simple orthodontic problems. Queena takes huge pride in her work and is passionate about all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. She is currently completing her two year advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry she enjoys long distance running, reading books and pursuing her other passion which is teaching children mathematics and science! She was awarded the Point of Light award by the Prime Minister, amongst other awards, in recognition of her work to provide educational opportunities to disadvantaged children.

Dr Nahid Rahman is a GDC-registered dentist with over 15 years of experience in general dentistry.

Since graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2009, Dr Rahman has provided exceptional care to his patients with a kind-hearted, understanding approach. He has also played an active role in mentoring and teaching both dentists and dental nurses.

While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Rahman has a particular passion for cosmetic treatments, including composite bonding and facial aesthetics.

Originally from nearby Chipping Norton, Dr Rahman’s decision to join Lion House Dental Practice was strongly influenced by his fondness for Hook Norton and the surrounding community.

Over the past decade, he has enhanced his skills through advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and clear aligner systems. As a Platinum QST (Quick Straight Teeth) provider, he has successfully completed over 80 orthodontic cases.

Dr Rahman’s interest in facial aesthetics began in 2015 and led him to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Injectables at No.1 Harley Street, London. He is highly experienced in providing anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and skin booster injections, having carried out over 100 successful treatments aimed at rejuvenating and enhancing facial profiles.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Rahman enjoys travelling, cooking, spending time with his family, and following a range of sports.

Dr Rob Endicott provides a roving dental sedation service. Until 2018 he was a general family and implant dentist in Stratford Upon Avon and retired to focus on helping patients get the treatment they need and overcome their fear of the dentist. Rob has carried out over 3000 IV sedation procedures, along with intranasal and oral sedation to help needle phobic patients.
